George Kise' work was seen at a prestigous craft fair (October 2008).  After many attempts to contact him, a custom order was placed for a wooden sign (December 2008).  My credit card was hit right away, and after many attempts to follow up with him via phone and email because it was past due, a cancellation letter was sent via registered letter (March 2009).

Two months later the item was received with a spelling error.  Many attempts were made to contact him but to no avail. The sign was returned (May 2009).  A report was written on line with the Better Business Bureau and many attempts were made with my credit card company to retrieve the money, also to no avail.

The NY State Attorney General's office contacted me (August 2010) to see if i would be appropriate for me to file a claim.  The claim was filed and many communications took place with that office.  The sign was received by me December 4, 2010.  It is now April 15, 2011, and almost all of the paint on the sign has fallen off.  I took pictures of the sign, contacted the office of the Attorney General's office, and was advised to contact the vendor.

As of this date, the email address is not effective.  Will follow through with a certified letter requesting full reimbursement, while copying the NY state Attorney General's office.

George offered to redo the sign, indicating it had something to do with the kiln process.  I will try to remove the photo on this report.  The sign was returned to him 5/10.  Waiting to hear.
