Im new to texas. Ive never rented from anyone. This is my first time ever. Not even the town im from. I saw the ad about a townhome 1 bedroom 100 week in the Greensheet newspaper. So i called the number listed. The phone went straight to voicemail. Soon after an auto reply message came to my phone telling the times they were open and prices. No deposit. 40$ app fee. With an address at the bottom. I finally get to the apartment complex a foreign woman greeted me at my car door. She politely showed me the townhome that was for rent. Gave me an app. After getting the application i did research on the apartment. Thats when i came across this website. It had all bad reviews dealing with these weird people. I still gave them a chance.

I mean what could i be denied for? Especially being a first time renter with no rental history. Well guess what yall!?!?! On september 10 2016 i got a call back saying my app was denied due to me having a very bad criminal record. Yall ive never been to jail. I bring home 890 or better every week. Ive worked my entire life. So yes i am a victim of a ripoff. He gets frustrated with me cause im trying to explain i never was charged with anything. Im not a second chance renter. So why was i denied? No way my app was suppose to be denied. No way dude! But im not mad nor angry. It was only $40 bucks. I wouldnt advise anyone to pay for an application for these townhomes. They not that bad of a place as far as noise n traffic. One reason probably cause nobody really lives there. Dont take the bait after seeing these reports. Dont get FOOLED by the CATFISHES.

I've read the other complaints I've found online about this place and I don't have a good feeling about this place. I say that as somene who has worked in property management.  You need to fight them, it's the principal of the thing, not so much the $40.  But more than that, you need to take steps to have this place investigated!

I would file with the BBB, Business Consumer Alliance, the Consumer Protection Division of the Texas Attorney General's office.  Last but not least, I would contact a local consumer reporter. For example, there in your area is Fox4news and they have a department that conducts investigations.
