Wine Country Gift Baskets, or winecountrygiftbaskets.com, does a bait-and-switch with shipping charges that must be making them a lot of cash. They do not disclose that the shipping charges they list, one of which is ZERO, is in addition to an underlying shipping charge of $5.95. I was first told my shipping charge was nothing, then I was told it was $5.95, and they charged me $11.90 on a $19.95 order.
Stay away from Wine Country Gift Baskets. Avoid winecountrygiftbaskets.com They're sneaky and I'm sure they're making plenty on this racket.

Another False Competitor Complaint

Normally, with undocumented services like ripoffreport... it is usually competitors filing false reports to mislead people. In this case, there were two other false reports also placed on 12/21/10 on Google reviews (the two reviews were the only reviews on Google in 2010). I will bet this poster works in Long Beach based upon the Google posts and all of them being posted on 12/21/10. It is sort of sad companies feel the need to mislead people. Wine Country Gift Baskets doesn't believe this practice is a good way to do business. If a company is willing to mislead people via false posts, what else are they willing to do? We clearly post shipping and handling on all product pages, it is right below the product price.
