I fell for the sales pitch at Wordstream and signed up for their service. I was hoping for $650+ a month it would help me with my companies adwords campaigns. They only sell a 6 month contract I knew I was locked in but based upon my monthly spend it could be less as low as $299.
Once I got into and really started using it I realized this was not ever going to help me with the adwords campaign. Seeing that I was locked in I decided to disconnect my account from there system this way I could get the lower rate but I wouldn't have any access to the wordstream system. A sad waste of $299 a month but I fell for it, it was my mistake, so I would just eat it.
But it has come to find out that because I didn't disconnect before the end of the first billing cycle they now want to charge me $650 again for another month. Now I can neither use their system nor enjoy the lower billing price. I certainly can't afford to pay $650 for something that I cannot use I just wish they would charge me the $299 instead and be done with it but they appear to want to battle it out over this.

#1 UPDATE Employee
Complaint Response
AUTHOR: Chris - (USA)
SUBMITTED: Wednesday, September 28, 2016
Hi there,
Our apologies for responding late to this complaint as we were unaware this type of feedback was being published on Rip Off Report.
Per our records, our billing team cancelled this particular customer’s account due to WordStream’s 55-day cancelation rule regarding unpaid past-due invoices (which at that time stood at two months past due, approaching the third month).
Our billing team sent 12 emails to the customer during that two-month period. We informed the customer via email on 7/26 that if their overdue balance was not settled by end of that business day, we would be forced to deactivate the customer’s account.
This customer also received a one-month account pause during their second month.
We apologize for any miscommunication.
