18 months ago my, now, Husband and I purchased item # a.0030. Yellow gold . "A diamond wedding set that is made up of 4.00 ct. total weight. Center stone can be customized between 1.00ct princess cut diamond, SI. Side diamonds on engagement ring totaling 2.00 ct. Made with round, princess and baguette diamonds in an invisible and prong setting. Matching band consists of 1.0ct. princess cut channel setting. Handcrafted in 14k Gold." Beautiful and unique. Just like other reviews we experienced same very poor customer service and false tracking # ploy to delay shipping. But the Worst was after receiving and needing an appraisal to insure, an independent appraiser showed us that Not Only does the center diamond have Flaws Visible to the Naked Eye but who ever set the center stone did it improperly and Fractured the Center Diamond. We then obtained a 2nd independent appraisal from an appraiser considered to be one of the top appraisers in the state. she refused all knowledge of 1st appraisal/conditions until finishing her appraisal. Her findings were the same. Both appraisers are used as expert witnesses in court cases nationwide. With wedding weeks away I contacted World Jewels and explained findings asking Only what was Wrong be Made Right. World Jewels Refused to do so. Fortunately I Only shipped them back the engagement ring. After multiple calls the jeweler called me back Yelling at me about "how dare I". They only offered to reduce the size of the stone from 1.0 to 0.9 to remove the broken part. But by this time we were 6 Days before our wedding. I told them their offer was unacceptable and to overnight untouched. 3 days later I received my ring back in same uninsurable condition; not knowing when the center diamond will fall out. Appraised quality is I, Not SI. Jeweler also yelled at me for insulting him regarding quality. Sincerely, Heartbroken in Phoenix
