In a full page ad in the AZ Republic these shikesters have a picture of the US Capitol and 5 new state coins. The come on is that these coins will go to the public FREE, but it must be done within 48 hours and has each state listed individually with its own toll free number and get this "obscene number available or allotted to each state.

Pennsylvania, Florida, and California NOT AVAILABLE, the article written by R. K. Berry "cub" reporter for the Universal Media Syndicate looks authentic and is very cleverly crafted to give the indication that its free...well that is the 1st year or 5 coins $1.25 worth. And wait there's more!!!!

These coins will likely be worth more than the original state coins which have already increased an amazing 400% in collector value. And they anticipate giving away more than a million dollars worth so hurry to get in on this free offer.

The scam is you pay $9.00 to "claim" the new Collectors Coin Chest with the Eagle and Stars and Stripes interior "basically your new coin coffin".

Next year for $14.95 you get another 5 coins or $1.25 and this continues either until 50 states are minted or we annex Latin America, Canada, and South America and add another 50-200 states and at 5 a year it's a nice retirement for $14.95 less $1.25. Which is coveinently drawn from your pre-authorized credit card.

We need their collector source, if we can get 4 to one on all those state quaters we can pay off the deficit and usher in the bull market.

I'm holding out for the 6 aluminum cans with 5 cents deposit that I can order for $11.00 with the plastic rings that hold them nicely together.

These clowns are just slick enough to appear legit in the eyes of the newspapers that charge them hundreds of thousands of dollars for ad. space and just slimey enough to out slime our government, and legal entities that are supposed to shut these guys down.

So folks don't miss out their GIVING away money its free and if your save 8 years worth of quaters you can buy a pound of dog feces complete with a Bowwowcentennial plastic pooper scooper baggie for $10.00.

It is amazing the number of people who fall for these scams. The newspapers that print these ads know full well that they are advertising a Rip-Off, but it is their bottom line that counts. I really enjoyed your post, I am an advocate who gives seminars to the Elderly whom are always in the Bulls-eye of these scams.
