We had 2 of these salesmen show up at our house on 2 different days. My husband ordered a couple of magazines the first time. Two days later, a differnent person showed up & I purchased a magazine from him. During our conversation, my husband came home & asked the guy why he was back in the SAME neighborhood selling the SAME magazines. He said that they didn't get to all of the homes so they decided to come back.

The guy who sold them to me gave me this long song & dance of how he was a single father from Detroit who was trying to turn his life around. He said he had responded to the ad placed in Detroit, decided he wanted to travel & meet people of all color, race, religion, etc. He said it was a very good 'life experience' for him. This company taught their employees to be respectful, sell useful items, etc. Of course, I fell for it.

So - after all of that is said and done, we've been ripped off for over $200!! This guy SWORE that we would get our magazines faithfully and this was a very legitimate company. I actually did call the number on the slip he gave me at the time. I did get a recording saying the office was closed for the evening but I was welcome to call back in the morning. I didn't do that because I 'assumed' (and you know what they say about assuming!!) that the company was on the 'up & up'. Big mistake!

Do NOT purchase from this company. Do NOT fall for the 'sob story' from the employees. I'm out over $200 & nobody cares about my 'sob story'! I will never, ever again, purchase from a door to door salesman.
