Like so many others, I decided to give a weight loss technique a shot. It was a "risk free" trial, sign up, and pay "just shipping". Knowing it was a long shot to work, I decided $4.95 for shipping would be okay.

Well, not only did the tea not work AT ALL, when I checked my bank account, I'd been charged the $4.95 for shipping PLUS $29.95 two weeks later. And another $34.95 two weeks after that.

In between, I found a $19.95 charge for a company called Living Lean. I had no knowledge of this company. I believe I saw a "free trial" for some support system, but didn't act on it. I did need it or want it. But I was charged for it anyway.

I finally got a hold of their live chat -- which by the way, doesn't work on Vista operating systems, the window doesn't open up like it should. They said all the fees were in the Terms & Conditions. I have to send back the tea and GET DELIVERY CONFIRMATION along with a cancellation code they sent me.

I have to CALL Living Lean during their very specific time frames - which I did, and now I have to call BACK "in an hour or two" because they're "updating their system".

This is completely ridiculous and fraudulent on all levels. Especially for a product that DOES NOT WORK.

Refunds Delayed for "Technical" Issues

AUTHOR: Reudaly - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, July 31, 2008

I sent back my WU-YI tea - the second set and my unused portion - for the full refund. I had delivery confirmation. The box got there on 07/07/08. On 07/15/08, when there was no refund, I "chatted" with them. They processed my refund THAT DAY and would be in my account in 7-10 business days.

Today, 07/31/08, there is still no refund. I got back on line with them. There were "technical difficulties" and the refund would be in my account in 4-7 business days (see me holding my breath).

THIS time I got email confirmation - for less than half of my refund. Fortunately, I had already demanded to speak with a supervisor or manager. After going round and round with him, I managed to get at least chat confirmation that I would have the $29.95 x2 refunded (not just x1) -- HOWEVER they REFUSE to refund shipping charges or reimburse for the postage I PAID OUT OF POCKET to send the crap back.

I'm livid. I'll take what I can get, but they're still stiffing me almost $15 in shipping charges - the two times they charged me $4.95 s&h, and the $4.80 it cost me to Priority Mail it back.

DO NOT EVER WORK WITH THIS COMPANY.
