Wu-Yi Source Failed to refund money when unopened package was returned. Ontario California

I ordered the "free two-week trial" supply of Wu-Yi Tea. After trying the product given to me by a friend before I received my sample package, I decided I did not want it. It upset my stomach.

I returned the product that was sent to me unopened and sent a note of explanation that I did not want it. I received NOTHING FURTHER from this company. My credit card was charged $59.95 in addition to the handling and processing fee. I called the company and was told they had received the product I returned and my account would be credited.

Two weeks later I was charged ANOTHER $59.95, and given a credit of $59.95 at the same time.

I called the company and asked for the refund. I spoke to "Renata" who told me she would process the refund. When the refund did not appear after several days, I called again and spoke to 'Chris" who said she would process the refund again.

Upon further questioning, she told me that her computer would not accept the refund request and said I should go to the company's on-line chat room to have them process the refund.

After a very lengthy "chat" with John, I was told that he was trying to process the refund. but his computer said "Transaction not refundable". He said he did not believe me when I told him that I had not contacted my credit card company. After further "conversation" with his supervisor "Hailey", she came up with the story that my bank had blocked the account. NOT TRUE!

At that time I DID call American Express, who agreed with me that this company is SCAMMING people.

I have every confidence that American Express will handle this matter expeditiously. I hope others will be forewarned before doing business with WU-YI SOURCE. It is the same company as WUYI TEA LAS VEGAS. They have adddresses in Ontario, California and Saint George, Utah.
