I sent this letter to the timeshare on 4/20/21, they of course did nothing to help as expected:

We are reaching out to you because we are needing assistance in canceling our 2 contracts with Wyndham. We feel burdened by this Time Share and have been lied to during our purchases and throughout our ownership with Wyndham. We first purchased a Time Share for a week in Pagosa Springs, CO to have a scheduled week for vacation and a place for Greg to hunt if he wanted to.

The second time we ended up purchasing more points and had to attend a meeting while we were trying to enjoy our vacation. We were told switching over to points would give us more advantages and let us stay at more places. We found this not to be true and are extremely unhappy with the limited options we now have. We then were lied to about being able to use our points at Wyndham hotels.

We tried to use our points in Ogalla and again in Wyoming and it would have cost us all of our points plus a large sum of money. Another lie we were told is that by switching to Club Wyndham we would not have to pay a booking fee or any upgrade fee. All of what we have been told has just been lies to get more money out of us.

This is an unacceptable way to run a business and we no longer want any part of this. The times we have been able to use our Time Share amenities were not available, there was a hole in the floor we had to cover so we wouldn’t freeze overnight, and things were under construction making it impossible for us to get around. We deserve a refund of the money we have been tricked into spending in this matter and our contracts need to be canceled immediately.

We would appreciate a speedy resolution to this.

They have sent me to collections multiple times, even though the reason I STOPPED paying them was because of everything described in that letter we sent them. We are looking for help, and encourage you to look into the plethora of complaints and lawsuits against this company. The entire industry is built upon lying to people to get a sale.

We are asking for a cancelation of our timeshare, and a refund of any money paid.
