YMMSS - Success Through Advertising ripoff Falsely reporting income per 1099. Belize Guatemala

Same scenario as others posted here.

I was stupid enough to give this a try and should have realized that any company based in Belize is there for obvious reasons...to avoid USA government regulations for fraud.

YMMSS - Success Through Advertising as it is now known has sent me a 1099 for supposedly advertising credits I was issued when they could not fulfill their money doubler program.

I have not had contact with this company for over a year and now out of the blue I earned $1600 dollars in 2006. I sure would like to have the cash and would gladly claim it on taxes if I had actually been paid anything.

Here is the response I got after submitting a help ticket. I called the number on my 1099 and was directed to submit a help ticket at ymhelp.com.

Hello

We posted an Announcement in STA Alerts in your back office in October regarding possible tax liability for the 160 Survey WAC's you received for completing the Survey. These WAC's (posting credits) are valued at $10.00 per WAC and taxable income is $1600.00.

IBA's may also have a tax liability from Accelerator Table Earnings.

No cash is due IBA's for accelerated value as you received reading credits and can earn weekly income for these reading credits.

Please log in to your back office at: http://www.stasite.com/ and review your 2006 Earnings report.

We report as the IRS requires. It is important that you talk to your tax advisor about your home based business as you are a self employed internet advertiser.

While we are not in a position to tell every IBA that they will be able to deduct an off-setting amount from their WACs earnings, we can offer that it is a possibility and you need to talk with your tax advisor about it.

These are important reports you should copy for your tax advisor:

1. Earnings - under Historical Reports for earnings under our old comp plan
2. Weekly IBA Earnings
3. Matured Accelerator Positions
4. Survey WACs reported at $10 per for any not returned to STA.
5. 2006 Earnings report
6. Ad transaction history located in Retail site, if you have posted Ads.

If you can not log into your back office, we need information below by fax or pdf file. Please read entire information below as we can not give anyone
access to a User Profile without this information:

If you do not have access to a fax at home, you can usually access a fax machine at libraries or other office type businesses. Please read this entire message.

To do a pdf file, you would need to have your document in a program in your computer such as a Word program. Then you can use this:

*** First, Be very detailed in your fax or pdf file of what you are needing changed on your profile. List the information as it is now, then please include the new information to be added or changed.

The following information must be faxed or sent by pdf file:

1. Government issued photo ID. This can be a passport, Drivers License, etc, Make sure the picture does not fax as a black box. The picture must be viewable. (Recommend that you test the picture by making a copy of it to make sure it is viewable). Make sure your information on your photo ID
matches your User Profile.

If name or address is different then we will need additional documentation such as a utility bill, etc. that will match your User Profile.

2. User name in profile.

3. Provide complete telephone number (if outside the US, they must include their Country Code + City Code + Telephone Number).

4. Provide your current registered STA email address.

5. Full name in profile.

If you do not have access to a fax machine the only other way to submit this information to STA is by putting your information into a .pdf format and email it to: confirm@ymmss.org

This will send the information to the correct department.

Please remember NOT to send this information in a helpdesk ticket. It must either be faxed, or e-mailed to the above address.

-->>I haven't a clue how to login to their newest scam, back office, etc., and don't think I will be sending them any more personal information just to be able to manage an account I didn't know existed.

Don't you just love the way they assigned credits and now we suddenly earned money of which none of us has ever seen?

Please avoid this company like the plague.
