Yoga Pro Bought defective product and won't refund my money Ann Arbor Michigan

I ordered over $200 in items from yogapro.com and received the items. One of the items was an expensive yoga mat (almost $50) and I paid a ridiculous $24 in shipping. The mat (the Maha Mat) is touted on their site as the 'best' mat and the one to buy.

It is a piece of junk. I tried to use it and was slipping and sliding all over the place. Not a good thing during yoga - you can hurt yourself.

I emailed them about returning it and was told their policy is to not accept returns on a USED item. I couldn't believe this, so I called. Nope - not going to accept return or refund money. I told them the product doesn't work, and they kept repeating the policy. I nicely asked for my money back and to return the product, and they told me NO - it was USED.

I told them that there was no way to know it was not working properly if I did not USE it. They said no refund and finally I hung up.
