Back in 2000 my Husband and I purchased a stereo from rent a center abiut a year later the 100 disc cd quit working we sent into their service and they replaced with a 5 disc cd/dvd player after we paid it off aproxomate time 35 days later it would not work.
Well in September of 2006 we got a lap top a dell inspirion 1300. It was fine for the first 6 months we started having problems and sent it to service.This lap top had been in 3 times since then. Paid it off on March 3,2008 on March 5 2008 it would not read wireless card and some program files were deleted with out us deleting them. We had purchased norton anti virus for about $100.00 on the net to keep it protected. We bought norton in Sept 2007 so we knew it was not a virus we got the computer back from their service center it has a red line across screen and will not connect to wireless lynksys modem. It kept flashing bright /dim. power was low,put on charger disconnect charger and still showed inlower right hand corner it was plugged into outlet which it was not. It kept flashing several things effecting our status and would ask us want to fix status. we click yes and about 5 more of the same fix would popup and not go away. It would not shut down. It did not act right at all. Now they send it back to service and if can not be fixed give us a the exact same one we had but previously rented. I did call dell and they stated it should be sent to them, but rent a center said they would not do that. So here is my issue with rent a center have about three more issues with beds,tables, and electronics.
What we to do! This is crock Of **** I bought something new and they are not standing behind. Cannot locate there main head quarters does not exsit as far as I can tell it is split into districts.
