Choice Home Warranty I purchased a home warranty from Choice Home Warranty is October 2013, I called in an A/C claim in May 2014 only to be told by the tech that the system needed to be replaced. Choice Home Warranty proceeded to tell me that it was a preexisting condition and would not be covered. They said that the problem happens over time and therefore they will not cover it. It is the companies way of never having to pay for a claim. Any unit will begin to fail from the first day of operation and therefore the company can avoid having to pay for anything. Tennessee

I purchased a home warranty form Choice Home Warranty in October 2013.  I filed a claim for my A/C unit because it was running all the time.  The Tech came out and put in stating that the system needed to be replaced.  Choice Home Warranty denied the claim and said it was a pre existing condition.

When my husband called to see why, he was told that the problem happens over time and therefore would not be covered. My husband asked how that could be posible when the A/C was working earlier.  He told my husband that system leaks happen slowly over time.  

According to what the company said, any consumer can be guaranteed that they will find a way not to cover any claim!!!! This home warranty company is a scam!  They will screw everyone!!  Do not purchase a warranty from Choice Home Warranty!!!
