Claims Processing Center Processes claims for moving companies nationwide State Island New York

This company is doing business out of Staten Island New York. They are NOT an insurance company and they deny every claim. They do NOT answer letters sent to them once they have denied the claim and refuse to come to the phone or return a call. They are a scam and they are basically a "gate-keeper" so that multiple insurance companies never have to see a claim against the moving companies they insure.

My furniture was ALL damaged by a company that delivered my furniture in Miami (Flat Rate Moving & Storage Miami, Florida) and then one guy stood their flirting with me the whole time despite my attempts to walk away while the other two completely mishandled my furniture to the extent I DID make comments. The "Claims Processing Center" then claims I never gave notice in writing as to the damge despite being advised by Flat Rate Moving & Storage Miami, Florida that I should send my photos and complaints straight to Claims Processing Center which I did.

They then never replied to my appeal of their notice. I have now filed a complaint with New York State Attorney General and will also file one in Florida against Flat Rate Moving and Storage. I also intend to sue Claims Processing Center and Flat Rate Moving & Storage. The telephone number for Claims Processing Center is 201-437-6900 and the guy who answers is named David Green.

He is very rude and though they tell you to call back at certain times and speak to a "Lisa Lipton" I doubt she even exists as every time you call they have another excuse why she is not available. ANYONE who has had a problem with Claims Processing Center do file a report with the New York State Attorney and also anyone getting a moving company--ask in advance their insurance information!
