First American Home Warranty Doesn't warranty products and replace them with like products. Always trying to take the cheap way out. It's always a fight. Santa Ana California

I filed a claim for a broken clothes washer and it was determined by First American that it was cheaper to replace the unit rather than spend the money to fix the unit.  We received a replacement offer today and the unit they want to use as a replacement doesn't match the very expensive unit I purchased.

My unit has 12 different washing cycles.  They want to replace it with a unit that only has 9 cycles. 

I wouldn't use this company in the future.  Your better off buying a warranty with the manufacturer.  At least you will get a replacement unit that meets or exceeds what you purchased.

Oh...  My unit also has a pedastool and the new proposed unit doesn't is a different manufacturer and will not work with my pedastool.

Do not use this company.  It's a waste of money.
