Same old story with these guys... I bought what was advertised as a brand new, never used, Motorola V600 phone. The phone I received had a battery that would not take a charge. In addition, any battery that was put into the phone would not charge.

I sent the phone back and after three weeks they sent me another phone. The second phone had an inoperative ear speaker. In addition, one of two contact prongs for the antenna was broken off the circuit board and the other contact was bent over so it could not make contact with the antenna.

I again contacted LL Cellular and was told by them that, since this was the second bad phone, I could return it for a refund. I returned the phone via Priority Mail with delivery confirmation. After three weeks and no refund appearing in my PayPal account I called them. They told me they had received the phone but since it had been so long since it was purchased my money could not be refunded via PayPal. I told them that that is not true, that all they had to do was put in my e-mail address and the amount and it would be done. LIKE EVERYONE ELSE I WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR MORE THAN 30 MINUTES INNUMERABLE TIMES.

On calling back another time I was told it would take another 30 to 60 days to process the refund. I asked "why". I was told that that was just their policy. I told them I had already waited over 30 days and demanded a refund on the spot. You're getting ahead of me...yep, they put me on hold...and never got back to me.

I will be taking them to small claims court in California. No, you don't have to be there in person to do that. You file a motion for a telephonic hearing. Neat, eh?
