Bought travel trailer for what we were told was $30,000.00 and placed a $3,100.00 down payment for it, which means it would be financed for $27,000.00. Viola! The first bill came from the bank and it said we had financed $39,000.00, which means the trailer cost $42,000.00 before the down payment.

I took it back and left it with them, but lost the $3,100.00 down payment. NEVER take what Camping World says at face value. Actually READ your contract before signing it, because they will LIE!

You missed a step

You go from being "told" it was $30,000 to getting a bill saying you financed $39,000. You seem to have missed a step in this process. What was on the contract you signed? Please don't tell us you signed a contract for 10's of thousands of dollars and didn't read what you were actually signing.

It's quite possible you are still clueless. As that extra amount is likely various "add-on's" such as Warranties and extra accessories. To put it very bluntly you need to get all of the paperwork you signed, and take it to someone who can actually read it and let you know what you actually bought.

If you are lucky you may find that there are extra services that you can cancel and get refunded on.
