Camping World Ellen Smith Bait and Switch Lincolnshire Illinois

Needing a new awning I looked around and found Camping World had what I wanted. It was a Dometic 8500 and a metal weather shield. On the phone I ordered it and was told that to get the special price I would have to join Good Sam. $29.00 was added to the order and I told my installers it was on the way. I was a little concerned that I didn't receive an email conformation but waited and several days later I received a call inquiring about my delivery address. Humm, we double checked every detail and now the had the address wrong. Or did they??? This was when they opted to inform me that the weather shield was NOT included, Humm again. As you can imagine I was outraged, I demanded someone in management and I got a rude person named Larry. He told me it was not included and I informed him that my calls are recorded. I told him to review the company recordings where at least 3 people had confirmed the order included an awning AND a metal weather shield. A couple of days and I contacted him again and he admitted the sales people had told me the weather shield was included. He said "we made a mistake so we will ship the weather shield for only $150 more. Having me over a barrel I ok'd the order and requested to speak to someone in management. I was put in contact with Ellen Smith who said she would look into it and advise me of her decision. It has now been almost a month and I have heard nothing as far as a decision, just silence. I even requested to speak to her supervisor and have not heard from him/her.
