Im Leasing furniture from Aaron's and I come to find that the furniture is cheaply made furniture being sold at a high price! The furniture looked great but the quality is terrible, stitching coming apart, cracked wood, defects in the structure of the furniture, ect.
I made these facts known to the stores General Manager Tony Cortez and he has proceeded to give me the run around, telling me that theres nothing wrong with the furniture and not to complain so much having me to argue with him over and over again when I go in to pay for the furniture, One day he even said I don't wanna talk to you anymore! I'm furious! they also told me that the furniture was $818.00 and now they say the furniture is now $1,600 dollars! They give you bad service and they talk to you like you're a child and they have a take it or leave it attitude!
I recommend that if you're thinking about going to that store or any Aaron's store! Don't Do It! They are very rude! and you will be looking at possible jailtime!

what we offer

As customer and a G.M. of a franchise store, I know of many people that have benefited from Aarons Sales & Lease. We offer the guaranteed lowest price, offering the largest selection of name brand prices. With no credit checks and 90 days same as cash.
Our items are covered 100% from manufacture defect the entire time they are on lease (and even another 60 days after payoff). We then transfer any remaining manufacturer warranty to the customer.
We offer FREE moving of leased items if you do move. Payment holidays. And loaner items if your leased items need repair.
The original price you spoke of was more than likely the 90 S.A.C price which gives our customers the option to pay retail for the item they have on lease in 90 days. The latter price is more than likely the cost of the lease at full term.
We also offer an early payment option as well. It is available to you after the 90 days has expired. All of these things are covered before an agreement is signed by either the G.M./C.A.M./S.M. and the customer. I would suggest that you call corporate that number should be provided upon calling the store.

You will notice that your lease states that all merchandise is under warrenty up till 60 days after payoff. They cover all their furniture 100%. Also we help people and give them a chance that no other company will. All our merchandise is name brand.
Example you need a new refridgerator right away we have them for 99 dollars a month. You dont want to save for 5 months while eating can goods. Joe

Furniture Rental is a Horrible Financial Deal
AUTHOR: Kathy - (U.S.A.)

Leasing (or "rent-to-own") is the worst possible way to buy furniture or appliances. Consumers end up paying exorbitant interest rates, sometimes over 100%, for the goods. You are much better off to save your money and buy a piece at a time, even if it means sleeping on the floor.
You say that you were told you could purchase the furniture for $818 but the real price is $1,600? Have you looked at your lease documents? The price should be specified in the lease agreement.
