Alfred Angelo Bridal Victim of Fraud whitehall, Pennsylvania

I went to Alfred Angelo with all the enthusiasm of a new bride. Unfortunately, I left with a very sour taste in my mouth. When I went to my appointment the salesgirl looked tired and irritated. Anyhow, I tried on different dresses, and I really liked this dress she gave me to try on, the only problem was that the color of the dress was ivory. I wanted a white dress. I then asked her if I can have the dress ordered in white. Her response was unfortunately it is too late to order you a new gown because your wedding is in two months. She then went on to say that because of this if I wanted a dress it would have to be off the sales floor. Since this is my first time getting married I thought well might as well buy a dress or give a deposit down on the gown. I went ahead and did give a deposit, and left the dress and accessories on layaway. What I found fishy was that she said that if I wanted to do that I had to give half of the deposit down. Well about two weeks later I got a new white bridal gown from my great aunt for a gift. I was excited and unbelievably happy, because it was a new gown and it was white how I wanted it.  I then went back to Alfred Angelo and told them that I no longer wanted to take the gown, and if I can use whatever deposit I left to pay for the accessories and corset. They said no, their contract says that they cannot return or exchange any items. All Sales are final. I did not even finalize my sale.  I asked myself is this even legal basically they pressure you into putting money down, and you cannot return or get a store credit.  They took my 280 dollars that I put down, and would not give me anything back for it. I was victim of fraud, and this business should not even be opened.
