Allied Barton Security pulled me from the John H. Winters Building for supposed neglagence of duties without first properly training me on those duties. They just assumed that I knew everything there was to know about my site. On top of that time and time again they failed to properly pay me correctly.

So when I received my paychecks they were short forcing me to wait until the office received the corrections then I had to show up in person at the office in order to get what I should have already received. They have the audacity to call themselves one of fourtune 500's top ten companies.

Most if not all the security officers that work for this company are lazy and incompetent because thats the vibe that is given amongst all it's employee's. It' like lets see how much we can get away with and still get paid.
I bet you I could walk into my former site at the John H. Winters building right now without being noticed. Thats how laxed this company is.

I don't know about anyone else but I would'nt trust them with my life. For one they don't treat their officers like actuall human beings more like peices of meat. They really could careless about anything that goes on from site to site just as long as an officer does'nt compromise their contract so they can continue making all their money. One thing about the uniforms is that they cost $200 which consists of 3 shirts, 3 pants, a windbreaker, and badge.

First off the pants aren't hemmed it's the officers responsibility to pay to get them hemmed and second you have to provide your own footwear and belt. If you ask me this should all be covered within the $200 deposit. If they were to treat their officers better I believe that they just might have a little more pride in their Job.

I GOT A JOB WITH ALLIED BARTON AND THEY SENT ME TO A HIGH-TECH COMPANY.

THE YOUNG GUY ON THE MORNING SHIFT IN MY BUILDING WAS OK BUT DOING HIS BEST TO GET A COMMUNICATIONS JOB WITH THE POLICE DEPARTMENT.

THE SECOND GUY WAS A JUNKIE AND A THIEF WAS STEALING THINGS AND REPROGRAMMING SECURITY CAMERAS WHILE HIS "FRIENDS" WHO WORKED WITH A VERY BAD AND EXPLOITATIVE TEMP SERVICE AT THE COMPANY STOLE THINGS AND TOOK THEM OUT OF THE LOADING DOCK DOORS .HE STOLE SO MANY SOFT DRINKS FROM THE CAFETERIA UPSTAIRS, THEY INSTALLED A SURVEILLANCE CAMERA IN A CLOCK FACING THE SUPPLY CLOSET.

THERE WAS A HISPANIC GUY WHO WORKED IN THE OTHER BUILDING WHO APPARENTLY WAS DEALING DRUGS TO EMPLOYEES -- ALL  EMPLOYEES. A GAY BLACK FEMME KIND OF GUY WAS THAT GUY'S BOSS AND HE WAS A REAL WORK OF ART. NOT BECAUSE HE WAS GAY, BUT BECAUSE HE WAS A BACKSTABBER AND YES-MAN AND SAID,"I HAVE NO IDEA WHY WOMEN DO NOT WANT TO WORK HERE BECAUSE THEY JUST DON'T SEEM TO WORK OUT."
THE HISPANIC GUY  WAS FIRED FOR THREATENING TO KILL AN UNDOCUMENTED MEXICAN CLEANING LADY AND HE WAS DUMB ENOUGH TO PUT IT IN WRITING. HIS FRIEND IN MY BUILDING  WAS THE SECOND SHIFT GUARD WHO STOLE AND HE GOT SO MAD, HE KICKED MY CAR  --LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT.  NOTHING WAS DONE ABOUT THE HUGE DENT TO MY CAR. THE HISPANIC GUY DID GET FIRED SO THAT WAS ONE LESS SCUM.

BECAUSE ALLIED BARTON DID SUCH A LOUSY JOB THEY WERE ON A MONTH TO MONTH CONTRACT. I WAS TRYING TO BAIL THEM OUT...

THE COMPANY GOT FED UP AND THEY BROUGHT IN A GUY WHOSE SOLE SECURITY EXPERIENCE WAS AS A UNIFORMED GUARD WHO GUARDED PARKING GARAGES WHEN HE WORKED FOR PINKERTON. HE WAS GOING TO BE THEIR DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE SECURITY!!!! HOW STUPID, HOW INCREDIBLY STUPID TO THINK THAT A GARAGE WALKER WOULD BE ABLE TO HANDLE THE AWESOME RESPONSIBILITY! I WAS AMAZED.

IT WAS MY JOB TO MAKE THE ROUNDS OF THE OFFICE SPACE WHERE THE CUBICLES WERE AND YOU WOULD THINK THAT THE DIRECTOR OF SECURITY WHO HANDLES TOP SECRET INFORMATION AND THINGS ON A NEED TO KNOW BASIS --AND MOST EMPLOYEES DO NOT NEED TO KNOW --- HAS JUST A PLAIN CUBICLE SET UP AND NOTHING CAN BE SECURED OR CONFIDENTIAL THERE. AND THIS SCHMUCK LEAVES THINGS OUT ON TOP OF HIS DESK THAT SHOULD BE LOCKED UP.

LIKE THE LETTER HE GOT FROM PINKERTON TELLING HIM THAT IN EXCHANGE FOR THE GOOD REFERENCE THEY GAVE HIM TO GET THE JOB, HE SHOULD FIND OUT WHAT ALLIED BARTON HAS BID TO GET THE GUARD CONTRACT SO THEY CAN UNDERBID THEM AND GET IT.

I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE ALLIED BARTON CREW ONLY HAVING A MONTH TO MONTH CONTRACT AND WE WERE NOT GETTING THE HIGHER PAY LIKE WE WERE SUPPOSED TO. IT HAS USUALLY BEEN WITH THIS COMPANY THAT WHEN THE CONTRACT ENDS, EVERY ONE IS TERMINATED UNLESS THEY ARE ASKED TO STAY OVER WITH THE NEXT COMPANY AT EITHER THE CLIENT'S EXPRESS REQUEST OR BECAUSE THE INCOMING COMPANY WANTS TO REPLACE THEM LATER WITH SOMEONE AT OR CLOSE TO MINIMUM WAGE.  

WHY BOTHER TO CARE BECAUSE THE COMPANIES DO NOT GIVE A d**n ABOUT YOU -- DISPOSABLE, REPLACEABLE EMPLOYEE SCUM.

THE UNIFORMED PINKERTON PEOPLE WERE COMING AROUND ON POST DURING BUSINESS HOURS AND SCHMOOZING WITH THE BLACK GUY. THEY WERE THE COMPANY THAT AFRICAN AMERICANS TENDED TO WORK FOR IN AUSTIN BUT THE SO-CALLED DIRECTOR OF SECURITY WAS A WHITE GUY WHO LOOKED LIKE MASHED POTATOES IN A CHEAP SUIT. I DON'T THINK HE EVER SERVED A DAY IN THE MILITARY OR EVEN HAD A HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA.

SO I WENT TO THE ALLIED BARTON  LOCAL HEADQUARTERS WHICH WAS LOCATED AT A MUSTY, CHEAP SECOND FLOOR OFFICE IN A WELLS FARGO BANK BUILDING ON NORTH LAMAR ( I STILL GET THE CREEPS WHEN I DRIVE BY THAT BUILDING YEARS LATER). AND I WENT TO THE ACCOUNT MANAGER AND I TOLD HIM EVERYTHING THAT WAS GOING ON AT THE HIGH TECH ACCOUNT WHERE I WAS WORKING.
I  WAS TOLD TO MIND MY OWN BUSINESS. THAT EVERYTHING WAS FINE AND PINKERTON WAS NOT GOING TO STEAL THE ACCOUNT AND THAT I WAS JUST A GUARD. SO MUCH FOR GOING TO THE ACCOUNT MANAGER!

 THEY FIRED THE GUY FROM SECOND SHIFT IN MY BUILDING  AFTER CATCHING HIM STEALING ON VIDEOTAPE BUT IT WAS TOO LATE.

THE HIGH TECH COMPANY UNDERSTANDABLY TOLD ALLIED BARTON TO GET THE HELL OUT OF THERE -- THAT PINKERTON WAS COMING ABOARD AND THE BLACK LADY  (WHO HAD WORKED THERE LESS THAN TWO WEEKS),  AND MYSELF AND ANOTHER  TWO GUARDS  WERE TERMINATED. NO REASON. THEY LIED.

WHEN I THINK OF ALL THE OVERTIME, DOUBLE SHIFTS AND HOLIDAYS I PUT IN THERE FOR THOSE BASTARDS PLUS ALL THE EFFORTS I MADE TO SAVE THE ACCOUNT BECAUSE I KNEW MY JOB WAS ON THE LINE AND I LIKED TO DO A GOOD JOB, IT IS A BIT SAD.

I WAS FIRED WHEN I ASKED FOR MY VACATION BECAUSE I THOUGHT THEY WERE GOING TO REASSIGN ME SINCE I HADN'T DONE ANYTHING TO COST THEM THE ACCOUNT BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER. WHEN THE ACCOUNT GOES DOWN, EVERYBODY GOES UNLESS YOU HAVE MADE ARRANGEMENTS WITH THE CLIENT OR THE NEW INCOMING SECURITY COMPANY BEFOREHAND....

THESE PEOPLE ARE IDIOTS.

KING OF PRUSSIA IS ALLIED CORPORATE HQ IN PENNSYLVANIA -- HOME OF YANKEE IDIOTS. THEY CODDLE THEIR WORKERS UP NORTH WITH THE STRONG LABOR LAWS AND THEN THEY COME TO TEXAS AND THROUGHOUT THE SOUTH AND TREAT US LIKE WE ARE ILLITERATE PEONS AND FIELD HAND SLAVES AND EXPLOIT US LIKE THE CARPETBAGGER SCUM THEY ARE.

THEY BOUGHT BARTON PROTECTIVE SERVICES SO THEY WOULD BE ABLE TO LOOT ITS ASSETS AND PLAY UPON ITS GOOD WILL. THE IDIOTS AT ALLIED, AT SPECTRAGUARD HAD NO IDEA WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND I GUESS THEY WILL KEEP BUYING AND LOOTING OTHER SECURITY COMPANIES ...

I AM STILL IN SHOCK THAT THEY HIRED THE DREGS, DOPERS AND LOSERS THAT I HAD TO WORK WITH AND EXPECT TO KEEP THAT ACCOUNT.

AND RECENTLY, THEY SENT PEOPLE IN OTHER SECURITY COMPANIES POSING AS EMPLOYEES TO TRY AND STEAL THEIR CLIENTS....

BY THE WAY, MR. GARAGE WALKER DIRECTOR OF CORPORATE SECURITY LASTED ALMOST TWO YEARS AT THAT JOB BEFORE REALIZED HE HAD NO REAL EXPERIENCE AND NO INTELLECTUAL CAPACITY OR TRAINING TO HANDLE THE JOB, I DON'T KNOW OR CARE WHO THE SECURITY CONTRACTOR SERVICE IS OVER THERE NOW, I DO KNOW THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE GONE IN-HOUSE BECAUSE THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU TRY TO SCRIMP ON THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF SECURING YOUR MONEY MAKER!

YOU CAN NOT HAVE PRIDE IN YOUR JOB WHEN YOU ARE NOT BEING TREATED WITH RESPECT, PROFESSIONALISM --LIKE YOU ARE INTERCHANGEABLE, DISPOSABLE GARBAGE THAT CAN BE REPLACED WITH A WINO.

I HAVE 20 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN THIS BUSINESS-- FOR NOTHING.

I worked for AlliedBarton as a standard security officer in Oregon. I worked at an inactive sawmill that we patrolled regularly. I was never shorted on my pay, though I had fellow officers who were.

The best part about AlliedBarton is the training. I was very well trained, and I was continually trained until I quit. I never ran into a problem with anyone, excluding my site supervisor. I ended up quitting because I refuse to play political games.

The pay wasn't great, minimum wage, but in this sort of economy, it was better than no pay. If I was offered to work for AlliedBarton again, I would do it in a heartbeat.

The 702 Las Vegas area?? You've GOT to be kidding - you are either an Acct. Manager, District Mgr. or Office Manager in Las Vegas - you certainly are NOT a security guard or you could NOT, in good conscience, write such dribble. AlliedBarton in Las Vegas is no better than AlliedBarton in any other state. They DO give unhemmed uniforms and shirts that are stained. They DO expect you to pay to have hemmed or hem them yourselves. Securitas at least gives you a voucher to take to their tailor who hems the pants and bills the Company, not the guard. AlliedBarton in Las Vegas just recently hired 2 (perhaps 3) FEMALE Acct. Mgrs. - the first I've seen there in almost 4 yrs - undoubtedly to stave off discrimination lawsuits headed their way. I have had more Acct. Mgrs than I can count on 2 hands - FOR REAL - in less than 4 years - so much for stabiilty at the helm huh?? And as for paychecks - they DO make a whole lot of mistakes - and I can't believe the mistakes are purely by accident - I believe it's all about 'juggling the numbers' and they see fit to do this in order to make their numbers look very very good to their Headquarters. They also now require you to wait until the NEXT PAY PERIOD to get paid for any shortages - I don't even know if this is legal or not but this is what they do. No matter that you might need your money NOW, during the pay period it was EARNED, in order to pay rent, buy food, meet a mortgage payment - whatver the case - they DO make you wait another 2 weeks for your money. The women recently hired will indeed lose accounts for this Company because many times the Client is very happy with the guards working the account and they WILL dump AllliedBarton and look for another Company to service their needs - all the while requiring that the new Company hire on any guards on the site that the client wishes to retain. I know for a fact that this will happen very soon where I work - to quote the client (when speaking to me) "ALLIED WILL BE GONE LONG BEFORE YOU WILL" .........In other words should AlliedBarton decide to fire me they will quickly receive a 30 day notice from the client that they are cancelling their contract - this is all that is needed as this is how their contract is written - the client has the right to cancel at any time with a 30 day notice. The client also requires AlliedBarton to schedule an appt. for an interview with any guard that AlliedBarton is considering placing at the post on a permanent basis. The last 2 guards sent were NOT interviewed by the client - and trust me - the client IS NOT HAPPY about this. The last guard AlliedBarton sent is totally clueless when it comes to the job and was only given 4 hrs. training instead of the usual 16 hrs. (Two 8 hr. days). And to boot in order to give this guard 8 hrs. the supervisor has to take the hours from a guard who has been at the post as a regular guard - Obviously the guard that was just sent over is not needed on a regular basis so he should not be guaranteed an 8 hr. shift every week. The company is using this guy at various sites on a regular basis - a certain day here, a certain day there, etc. but he's not classified as a 'rover' and as such is not getting the higher 'rover' pay. So whoever thinks there are no problems in the 702, Las Vegas area - think again - THERE ARE A LOT OF ISSUES - and as I said at the beginning - you are obviously involved in management at the office level - you are neither a site-supervisor nor are you a regularly posted site guard. You are truly representative of the lies and deceptive practices that AlliedBarton is so famous for.

Up North, where you all yankees live, you all have a reputation of having labor unions which are supposed to protect the workers and burn employers who abuse them!

That is the myth that I have have always heard.

We have two hellish traditions that apparently shaped the Texas employment law here --and thank God for the feds or we workers here would have absolutely NO RIGHTS AT ALL!

There was the tradition of the Old South that relied on AFRICAN AMERICAN SLAVE LABOR and when THOSE SLAVES were freed, promptly enslaved everyone who was in the lower socioeconomic groups. The basic idea remained the same though....

Then there is the tradition of the estacias and ranchos of Mexico and the feudal system basically inherited from the Spanish Middle Ages where the darker complected Indian or indigenous peoples had absolutely NO rights whatsoever and the Patron who ran everything has the absolute powers of life and death ,etc. over his helpless and unarmed PEONS!

AND NOWHERE DID THESE TWO TRADITIONS COME TOGETHER ANY BETTER THAN IN PRIVATE SECURITY COMPANY CONTRACTORS IN TEXAS!

This is how ALL private security workers are treated in TEXAS and sooner or later, everybody is scheduled to go because these cheap (expletive deleteds) do NOT believe in seniority, overtime pay, OSHA , any other provisions of the Wages and Hours Act and would work us until we could not see anymore and expect us to it all again.

If ALLIED BARTON is different in New Hampshire, then you should THANK G*D THAT YOU ARE NOT IN TEXAS BECAUSE IT IS VERY DIFFERENT DOWN HERE!

I went to Maryland once and I went to Chicago once and I wanted to stay up there but the employment situation is such that I had to come back to Texas.

I suspect as the economy continues to fall apart, we will be getting some more of you Yankees with your alien culture down here.

Maybe they will organize security officers.

Maybe TEAMSTERS with the wiseguys will come here and break a few heads.

New Hampshire is in a world by itself.
THIS is TEXAS!

I went to Maryland once and I went to Chicago once and I wanted to stay up there but the employment situation is such that I had to come back to Texas.

I suspect as the economy continues to fall apart, we will be getting some more of you Yankees with your alien culture down here.

I worked for Allied-Barton in NH and I really enjoyed it. I had a great Boss and the pay was great. The Allied I know stresses Training and has many courses for new employees to take in thier training academy. It is one of the best Security Companies to work for andy do not put up with any unprofessional behavior, at least at the site I worked at they didn't.

I currently work for AlliedBarton in the Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma regions as a multi site supervisor. First off, AlliedBarton does not rewuire a $200 fee on its uniforms, we do not charge any of our employees a penny for their badge, shirts, pants, hats, windbreakers, jackets, and coats. Second off you did not state what it was that you did to be pulled from that site. There are many rules and regulations that you were told about in your SOBC class before you even started working. If you violate any of those you can be pulled from a site or even terminated. AlliedBarton also reserves the right to hold your final pay check until you have returned all of your uniforms and gear. So next time think about what REALLY happened, it sounds like it may have been more your fault than you think. In my honest opinion AlliedBarton is the best comapny I have ever worked for. Yes, there are some lazy officers out there, but they never stay employed with the company very long. As a supervisor have seen all different types of people come and go, I've hired and fired people in the same week for being irresponsible on the job, or just being plain lazy. I have also seen officers that don't know how to train with a darn just tell a recruit to watch them and thats it. I can understand if your training was terrible, but you should have took that up with you Account Manager the moment you realized you weren't being trained properly. Anyways, that's my two cents worth....

According to OSHA, you have to be permitted to use the bathroom and you can report them and they can be fined for it.

This company treats MEN and WOMEN differently. They do NOT want women working for them and so they discriminate like in the instance of the bathroom example that you pointed out.

Your father is a MAN and you are a WOMAN!

MEN are treated differently and better! Throughout the entire company no matter where you are ...

This comapny goes out of its way to set women up for failure so that you will g et discouraged and quit so they won't have to pay unemployment. They will call it a constructive discharge.

Sooner or later they will find something to get you to quit or they will set you up. The odds are on their sides and they have all the winning cards.

Try to get an education and that way you will never have to put up with abuse like this again.

I am sorry that this is happening to you.

Stop arguing about this. I think it depends on the account managers. Some are great, some aren't. That's how it is. I work in WI and it's horrible. Maybe others have good experiences. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. I am a 5'0 white female and I am expected to manually close a gate that weighs more than twice what I weigh. I weigh 95 pounds. I can't close the gate and I have gotten in trouble for not closing it. If I can't close it, and if there is no one to let me go to the bathroom, I have to sit and wait. You can't tell me that this treatment is good, because it isnt. I've asked for different sites and gates that fit my schedule (I am a student) and I am always overlooked.

This company is horrible, at least in my opinion. However, my dad also works for Allied at a different site and he is treated very well. Like I said, it varies.

I admit I read this report with great interest.

I used to work for this company and the original report is dead on in what was reported! That is how they do business. If you are Hispanic, African American , Native American or female they will put you on a post UNTRAINED especially if you have never worked security before and if you aren't told to read the post orders ( procedures on what to do and when to do it) OR those post orders are miserably out of date, they are setting you up for failure which is AGAINST the EEOC and should be reported to the Human Rights Commission on the 13th Floor of the City of Austin building located catty corner from the Federal Building downtown Austin. I made that trip several times.

The officer should have also contacted the Texas Payday Law people. Ask at any Worksource Center to get the discrepancy in pay that s/he has coming. Just make sure that you kept the paycheck stub and schedule of hours. you learn early in this game to keep track of the hours you actually work in a small schedule book or you will get (expletive deleted verb) over!

You might not get your money back for the uniforms either. Did you BUY the uniforms or was that just a uniform deposit? Get something in writing when you tturn your uniforms in and I hope that you kept the copy of the paper they should have given you that shows how much you paid for the deposit.

Did you get your unarmed security guard card that they took out of your check for? No?
Then they were working you without a card. Report them to DPS Security Bureau and the District Attorney's office for fraud since they took out for your non-commissioned card without giving it to you. That's Theft.

I thought the management shill in Nevada had interesting comments. I wonder if this friendly, professional working environment is extended to ALL security personnel regardless of color, age, ethnicity, gender. Somehow, I doubt it.

This is how it works in Texas and he or she will have a RUDE awakening if they come to Texas and experience PRIVATE SECURITY HELL....

My advice to officer Pacheco is to go to work for the the Travis County Sheriff's Department or Precinct Four constable's Office if you want a REAL job! Both agencies are hiring now. So is Bastrop County Sheriffs Department!

FORGET ABOUT PRIVATE SECURITY CONTRACTORS!

I address this to the Allied Barton Defender with whom I respectfully disagree:

Your description about your company's Nevada operations SEEMS too good to be true! Somehow I wonder if you have ever been a uniformed private security services subcontractor ( A "guard" actually in the field under fire so some "suit " in an office can look down on us as subhumans, like the Tsar and the serfs...)

Most larger security corporations prefer to hire supervisors and managers OUTSIDE of the industry. It is virtually impossible to work up to higher than a post supervisor wherever I have worked and I am glad I left when I did.

Working for private security companies was like getting a fresh blast from HELL in my face every shift that I came to work. Turnover rates were ungodly and what happened on my posts was HELL!

If more security officers, past and present, could afford computers and knew how to use them, the complaints posted here would go into the thousands about what happened to them!

Good luck to you. Things might seem good for now, but it has my experience that there is NO security in "security work" and sooner or later, somebody in your company will Probably try to shaft you --just because they can or they were bored and wanted to have some "fun."

Save your money.

Make sure they are taking out the Social Security out of your check and actually paying it to the Social Security Administration instead of pocketing it.

It's been years since you were with Allied, it's different now. (at least in Nevada)

Allied got rid of the "junk" accounts. No longer will you find Allied Barton employees working in ghetto apartments or unsafe low paying accounts. The local low paying security companies have taken those.

Allied Barton employees usually work in luxury condos, luxury gated communities, good paying industrial accounts, ect. Uniforms are plentiful and the pay is above average.

It's expensive to hire new employees with training and background checks so Allied bidded on all the good accounts to reduce the turnover rate.

Why say Allied Barton is bad company when you only worked for them in Texas?

I don't know how long you have been managing your office there at Nevada but somehow I doubt you are a field officer or one of the guys like me who went into places where the cops felt unsafe to do a job and did it well only to be defamed,cheated and lied to by your so-called employer..

If you had read Rip Off Report concerning Allied Barton, you would know that it wasn't just TEXAS that was having trouble with their grab money from client AND employees garbage!

I worked for these people in 1988-89 and then I worked for them again in another city, same state in 200-2001.

Same Garbage in both places.

NOW,They seem to be having problems getting people who will stay with them because apparently the TRUTH is out about private security contractors.

People do not want to be ripped off, given job references from hell by someone who never even knew them --just because the person who was asked for the job reference thought that it was "fun"...

People do not like backstabbing and to be set up for failure based on RACE,GENDER,PERCEIVED GENDER PREFERENCE, NATIONAL ORIGIN,ETHNICITY OR RELIGION!

I did not like having my paycheck constantly shorted!
Or to be put on a post with only a month to month contract without being advised and without being paid the higher rate because when the contract is canceled, regardless whether it was your fault or not, all often officers there are terminated without being reassigned.

And getting screwed out of your holiday pay or incentive pay and having to FIGHT like HELL for your overtime pay.

And when the company wanted to give us FREE life, health,vision and dental insurance that would not have cost allied a dime, allied refused STATING THAT THEY "DIDN'T WANT THEIR GUARDS TO HAVE ANY FRIVILOUS PRIVILEGES AND LUXURIES BECAUSE WE DIDN'T DESERVE TO have them!"

Well,IT ALL HAPPENED TO ME!

I don't know how long you have been working for Allied in Vegas but maybe you kept your old Barton Security personnel when Allied took over. If you aren't management, I don't know how long you have been working there bu I would like to see how you feel after a year.

I TOLD OUR STATE LICENSING AGENCY TO REMOVE ME FROM THEIR ONLINE DIRECTORY OF OFFICERS BECAUSE OF ALL THE HELL THAT HAPPENED TO ME.
I HATE THE DEVIOUS, CROOKED, PURE EVIL BASTARDS THAT RUN PRIVATE SECURITY CONTRACTING BUSINESSES AND IF I HAD MY WAY, THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WOULD BE REGULATING EVERY ONE OF THEM!

I NEVER FORGOT HOW I WAS TREATED AND I AM LOBBYING TO GET THE GOVERNMENT TO TAKE OVER HOW THEY ARE RUN!

How can you say that about Allied Barton as a whole?
It all comes down to management. Just because the District Manager in Texas is doing poorly in your view doesn't mean the whole company is bad.
In NV, we are issued 3 shirts, 3 pants, windbreaker, belt, tie, badge, hat and a hooded parka. Our blue uniforms look sharp and stop in the office to exchange old uniforms for new ones since hey want us to look sharp. Management here is more caring than Securitas and Wackenhut.(worked for both) They never shorted me on my paycheck and the wages and accounts are above that of Securitas and Wackenhut. Please don't defame the whole company because of your situation.

It belonged to BARTON NOT TO ALLIED. I knew several epople who quite because Allied was so intent on raiding the corporate profits and destroying what Barton had created -- a GREAT rep.

Next, I am surprised you got NEW uniforms. They issued me stained rags that barely held together but charged me as if they had been new AND they were telling Corporate that they had bought new when they obviousy hadn't. They managed to keep most of deposit too until I went and had them cleaned. I piined them together so they looked great and then I put a blue colored plastic bag over them and found a laundry tag and it looked like they had been to the laundry. I got my deposit back then. Those uniforms were falling apart on me too.

Our badges were half-a*s cloth things with the edges curling up so bad where they had been sewn on, they looked more like starfish that were panhandling instead of a real cloth badge. Cloth badges suck!

Idiots on post is business as usual. They don't keep good people who care for very long. They want idiots who wont' notice their checks are short and who will be willing to pay them to work for them so thy can wear a unifrom just like real poooooollllllease! WOW!

There is an extreme shortage of security officers --especially those of us who were commissioned to carry firearms --hell, what little they pay, you can't even afford ammo, in AUSTIN,TEXAS.

OK, Joe, amigo, you want to ask me, if I am such a wise a*s, then you tell me where is a good security company to work for in Ausitn,Texas?

Answer: THERE ARE NONE!
