Some Things To Learn From this Experience

AUTHOR: Seasoned Dentist - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, June 11, 2014

1. Be very leery of any advertisting, especially on TV.  MOr than half is usually lies.

2. Any professional that advertises on TV or radio has a very high patient turnover rate, and has to keep getting tons of new patients to make up for all the ones leaving. They leave for a reason, as you found out.

3. Corporate dental clinics, owned by investors and employing desperate, indebted young dentists on commission, are not wise places to choose to treatment. They are actually operating illegally, by using dentist "front men" as sham owners. The whole apparatus of these outfits is based on sham and deception, and their whole purpose is to separate you from as much of your money as possible.

4. As with most other services, you get better care from a small businessman who owns his own business and has a vested interest in customer satisfaction. Next time, seek out a dentist who owns the practice in which he works. These places are frequently listed under the name of the dentist who owns them, and NOT by any trade name like "Boulevard Dental" or "Anywhere Dental Care."
