December 30, 2001 ordered Gator Grip Universal Socket on-line,from as seenontv.com, paid with credit card in amount of $27.90. Received confirmation from company on same day stating my order # AS226252. Is now March 1, 2002 and two months later still haven't received item. Contacted Customer service # 716-426-2290 and was told order shipped on Jan. 3, 2002 but they had no tracking number. Was told by customer service representative to e-mail the company. Did so twice, no response. Contacted customer service again at same # and was told they could not do anything since item had been shipped and to e-mail the company.
Explained already did that. They said there was nothing else to be done since item was shipped. Asked customer service to speak with Supervisor, and they replied, didn't have one. Wouldn't give me name of company. Summary: Asseenontv.com, charged my credit card $27.90 on Dec. 30, 2001 for an item, but 2 months later, have not received anything and no recourse....help please. Is this company a scam? How do I get my money back or get the item?

Same thing happened to me

The same thing happened to me. I ordered a hose and reel early this summer, they advertized 3-5 day shipping. I emailed them after two weeks and got a reply (a week later) that my item had shipped and I would get it within the week. Here I am, A MONTH-AND-A-HALF later--no hose, and NO ANSWERS to any of my subsequent e-mails. I tried to call---always busy except for twice. Upon getting through those two times and explaining my problem, I WAS CUT OFF (???hung up on???). What a sleezy online merchant. I'm in the midst of getting my credit card company to get me a refund, but what a pain!!!

You need to call your credit card company and dispute the charge because the merchandise was not delivered. They will help you and you will win.
