I just want to put out a loud shout to all of those hundreds of people that have been ripped off by the internet fraud signature scheme. But this is not about fake signatures. Autographs America has now branched out into a different fradulent activity.....the mailing of fake collection agency notices. I received a notice on Saturday for the exact sum of $1,200. The notice was from 3 years ago. So everyone who has made a purchase from this company in the past, watch out for a collection notice. It comes stricly through normal U.S. Mail channels. Nothing formal at all. Just a clear cut forgery to extort more money from people. Of course he states the normal threats that one would do to get money but personally I don't owe the guy a dime. So getting a collection notice from Autographs America is simply silly.

I Received The Same Notice

Yes, I received the same collection notice you received. Funny, the amount he claims I owe was also the same $1,200 as you. Please take notice that Autographs America, Inc., his wife now is heavy into the fraud trade. She rips you off on the website, TradeTang.com. I got wind of this on the auction website, Overstock Auctions. Keep in touch bro. I am your neighbor.

Same thing

Hello,
I have also received the same "collections notice" from this company about a month ago. I do not intend to pay a dime and have since responded as such, but was curious how you knew it was not from a legitimate company. I had my suspicions from the day I received it, but could not prove it was a fake. Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. I'm sorry to see you are also going through this with the same company! Best of luck to you!
