I currently purchased and paid for two vehicles from calcars on rt. 4. They were great cars. I bought a car from Colerain calcars 2 weeks ago. Before purchasing had a mechanic check the engine.
They said it was "goop" and would burn off. It burned off and showed two+ cracks in the engine block. Oil and water leaking. Great billows of smoke inside and outside of the car.
Estimated repair $3500. Only paying $5000 for the car. Mechanics for calcars did a great job of covering up a huge major repair.
People with bad/no credit need an honest place to get a good car for reasonable price. Hopefully money will fall from a tree and feed my 4 children as I need a car for my job.
I know I bought as is... but a cover-up is still a cover-up. I will never go back.

Brother in Law used to work there

My brother in law used to work there and he said they always had some kind of crap wrong with the cars, and even had one break down while he was with a customer test driving it. Yes, it is unfortunate that some companies will take advantage of people with bad or no credit; this is definately one to stay away from.
