consumer credit services/consumer resource services huge rip off! hiden charges

Well let me join the masses in saying that CRS is a huge rip off. first off the prices are unbelievable. most of the products are able to be found at a flea market for a fourth of the price and others at walmart for half the price that they are selling them for!!! as far as the terms and conditions goes, they definatly put more money in hidding things than staffing people. the big problem with this place is that they make you pay 30% of what you are buying before they will send it to you. THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE UNSECURED CREDIT!!(that is what it said on the letter we recieved) remember when unsecured used to mean you didnt have to put anything up front.

well after wasting most of my afternoon, due to popular belief i found the customer service center. it took calling the activation center and having them walk down stairs and give them a messege.(the whole company owns a whole building and not a suite anymore.)after i spoke to the man at the customer service center i told him i wanted my money back and to cancel my account. he informed me that that was not a good idea because he could not refund my money for my membership. if i stayed i could be sent another catalog(why wouldnt they send you all the catalogs in the first place) and another $75 dollars in credit added to my acount. he also informed me that they give you a $200 credit after you purchace something$300 or more.(common he wanted me to spend $300 more and bring me to a total of $499($300 purchase+$199 membership fee=$499) more in the hole.WHAT A JOKE!!!!!!!!!!!

also i read somewhere on here that someone looked for the web site and couldnt find it. well i asked them about it and they quickly informed me that it was no longer running!(ya like it ever was)

i just hope everyone gets a chance to read what some people have written here and get an idea of the company before they get into it.
