This company has claimed to be seen on CNN, MSNBC, CSNBC and Fox News on TV. The company website also says that is has a copyright for 2004.
I went to the website and filled out a form on the site in reference to what I was requesting to have someone call me back. Within minutes I received a call back from a man named Greg Bohl.
After speaking to him for many minutes I wanted to make sure they were a reputable company and that they were not going to rip me off. I then went through the process of questions and information and he assured me that I would have my paperwork work in just a few days.
I asked many questions and I explained to him my situation and asked if I could file on the claims of what I need to file for. He said it was no problem and he also promised me that he would call the 2 creditors that I was having a problem with and let them know that I was filing bankruptcy so that I would stop getting calls and harassment in the mail. I paid them with a debit card.
Their advertisement states the fee is $195. In the beginning of December 2006 I was supposed to receive my paperwork, that did not happen. I called Greg everyday at least 5 times a day and could not get an answer. I then went to their website and I started sending e-mails through their website, I still did not get a response. After leaving several rude messages I then started to get e-mails from what was supposed to be their customer service department. I was promised my paperwork in just 1 day and explained with an apology of Greg being out ill and saying that they are sorry for not responding to me sooner.
Well, one day went by and this did not happen, I did not get my paperwork. After being very frustrated with the situation and 3 months going by, I filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau in Jacksonville Florida, St, Louis, Missouri and another region in Florida. I then filed a complaint with Consumer Affairs and the Attorney Generals office. I then filed a complaint with Contact 2..an organization in St. Louis that helps people out when they fill that they are ripped off.
The Better Business Bureau and the other organization I filed a complaint with against this company could not get in contact with them and have closed my cases. I then continued to call the organization, Consumer Credit Services of America several times every single day.
One day Greg must have slipped up and answered the phone when I called and he acted as though he was busted or caught. I asked him where my paperwork was and he went on and on about how he was so sorry that it was not sent while he was out, he had been ill and that the people he works with are such idiots. (Those were his exact words). He promised that he would send my paperwork that night. Well, he did not send it until the next day. There were mistakes on the paperwork. Since the paperwork was in Adobe Reader, I could not make the changes on the computer and I called again to ask if they could resend what was wrong. I gave them updated correct information again and when the paperwork was sent again one month later it was still incorrect.
I received threatening e-mails from the company in reference to the many calls and e-mails I was sending stating that If I did not send so many e-mails and calls my paperwork would have been processed and sent to me sooner. They had threatened to block my calls and e-mails. I asked for a full refund because they did not deliver to me what I had paid for. The process was only supposed to take days not 5 months. I was even promised free credit reports from the major 3 credit reporting agencies with that fee and then told that was never a promisewell, not only did Greg promise me that but it is also advertised on their website.
After speaking to customer service through an e-mail once again, I was told that I did not need any credit reports since I was only filing on against 2 companies. My total amount is only $13,000. I am filing because I signed up for school and did not go due to having surgerythe school and the loan company had spoken and it was agreed upon to give the loan company a full refund from the school because I cold not participate.
One year later, the loan company started sending me bills in reference to the loan. After contacting the school, they were never reimbursed. I was told to contact the school and the school had since then filed bankruptcy. I was at a lost, I refused to pay for something that I did not use and was being held responsible for. That is why I decided to file bankruptcy. I did not want to do business with Consumer Credit Services of America anymore.
I just filed my bankruptcy case in May 2007 in St. Louis, MO. I had to include amended documents to the paperwork because my information was not correct. Such as my income, address spelled incorrectly and etc on a few of the documents. I just recently received a letter in the mail from a financial management company asking me to log on to their website to obtain a certificate for filing my bankruptcy. My concern is how do they know I filed bankruptcy?
I am wondering if this company has submitted my information to a company to obtain more money from me. I know that I have to take a course but how do they know I filed bankruptcy. The company is debor-ed.com. (American Debtor Educators On-Line) They have a fee of $50. They say they are approved with the Department of Justice.
