Ive paid my bill on time with credit one bank since I opened the account. I switched banks and could not log in to my account to update my records. I called them (after 30 min on the phone) finally got access to my account. Put in new info, it did not take the info even though it said it did. several weeks later I get a hit on my credit monitoring saying my account is 30 days late (mind you I have perfect credit) this dropped my credit score 150 points. My feeling is they make it difficult for people to make payments in order to charge late fees and interest. I have been on the phone with these guys for hours trying to work this out and to no avail. On top of this last year they double billed me for an entire months worth of transactions and it took 4 months to get it resolved. If you open an account with these crooks beware. I have paid this account off and it is now closed I am glad to be done with these scammers but it was such a complete waste of time and money.

First off, I got this card years ago when I had less than perfect credit.
I logged in to my account and added my business account as the primary payment source. There are many transactions through that account on a daily basis and as a one man show running two business I do not have time to always go ad reconcile my bank records with payments. I do look at every transaction to make sure nothing is fishy. That being said I logged in to my account switched to my bank, scheduled the payment and didnt look until the next month. My access was frozen from my account and I had a 30 day late on my account. Every month this year has been a fight to make a payment. Again I run two businesses and cannot afford to be on the phone with these crooks for 30 to 45 min every month sometimes twice a week just to make a payment or add a bank account. None of my other credit accounts have EVER had a 30 day late and these are accounts tht have way higher limits. My credit file is strong with 0 delinquents, 0 late payments and plenty of open accounts.
I recieve no statements in the mail, everything is on my on line account that every month I cannot log in to so it makes account management very difficult. I stand with my post, these guys make it very difficult to make payments so they can scam people out of fees.

Credit One is a "Sub-Prime" bank and people with "Perfect" credit DO NOT have this card, and people with "perfect" credit do not have a 30-day late payment drop their score 150 points unless they have a very "thin" file.
Changing banks has nothing to do with Credit One.
Even if you had problem making a payment. By FEDERAL law they are required to send you a statment every month at least 21 days before your payment date, which if you do your math is about 10 days after your payment is due. This statement is either by mail or electronically. Now there is no law that says you have to read it. But if you showed proper account management and reviewed your statement you would have seen that the payment did not get posted, giving you plenty of time to correct it before you were 30 days late.
You had a second point to notice the error. Your bank account, where again if you showed proper acount management skills you would have reviewd your monthly statement from your bank to reconcile your account and realized that the payment was never withdrawn.
So sorry this 30-Day late is on you.
This isn't being "difficult" this is what people with truly good credit do. They manange and monitor their accounts to make sure that everything is correct. If you are going to come here and say something like you just don't have the time. Then go hire an accountant, I am sure you can find one for a few hundred dollars a month.
As for the double billing. Please post a scan of the statements showing the double billing for the ENTIRE month of transactions.
