They tell you that it is a free sample and you pay shipping only.

Then you get a small applicator, the size mascara eyeliner and they charge

$87.62!  You call them to say you never asked for more and why did they charge you and then they say, no problem just send it back and we will refund you.  They say they are sending an email with a confirmation and instructions on how to send back. You wait and it never comes.  Then when you call back again they say sorry but the time for sending back Dazzlesmile has now elapsed!

What a ripoff!

Too good to be true ad

AUTHOR: BarbaraF - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, December 17, 2009

I was checking my email this afternoon and saw the "too good to be true" ad that a housewife on a limited income discovered if she used Hollywood Brite Smile and Lucent White Pro together, the results were better than a dentist office and paying $600 bucks.  The ad said your free trial sample just pay shipping of $1.99 and $.99 cents respectively.

I ordered the Hollywood Bright Smile and paid the $1.99 for the shipping with my CC.  Then when I went to order the Lucent White Pro, my computer wouldn't let me view the website so I decided to go to Google and find the website there.  When I typed it in, the first article was the Scam Alert article and of course it caught my eye.  Instantly I felt foolish because I fell for the "trial sample."

I tried to cancel my order on-line but the email address they give doesn't work.  I called the number they had and got this guy who tried really hard to get me to buy into all this but I was insistent I wanted to cancel.  He said my order was canceled and even emailed me a confirmation saying it was canceled.  But after reading the other articles, I will be sure to monitor my CC statement carefully to make sure it was actually canceled.  My advice, if the ad is too good to be true then it's too good to be true!
