I feel I was also a victom of internet computer fraud in an innocent attempt to get my teeth a little whiter. I logged into the website and read a lot of information, did not see any place where it said I would be charged for a fitness club membership. I cancelled my subscription within one hour after I found the website reported here on ripoffreport.com. The rep said they cannot stop the shipment once the order is placed. it is shipped anyway and I have 14 days to return it to their warehouse or be charged 87 dollars. I followed the instructions to return the package insured to Aurora Colorado. It stated that they recommend you get a tracking number but I assumed that a cancellation number along with the order number written on the outside of the package I insured would get it there. Then after I sent the package back, I called a few days later and the rep told me they can ONLY trace the package with a tracking number, the one from the postal service that I did not ask for.  Later I got another charge of 25 dollars for a fitness club membership. I work on computers for a living and I have never seen such a deceptive website. I could not go back to find any "opt out" option and did not see anywhere that I had been enrolled in any memberships. I was being charged for them on my credit card anyway. They never found the package and I never recieved any re-imbursement so all I can say is that I will never do business with this company and will file complaints every place I can find to do so. I will also go to the dentist to get my teeth whitened. This is probably a good case for internet fraud at its best.

canned response from Dazzlewhite

The rebuttel submitted by Dazzlewhite is a canned email from them. I did contact dazzlewhite and got nowhere with them. Even today they do not show where the package was recieved that I sent to them and I have recieved no refund. State attorneys should really look at this comapny for deceptive practices and get refunds to everyone that thinks they were swindled.

Dazzlewhite and Dentech etc

AUTHOR: HP - (United States of America)

I too was scammed by this company but I never paid them except for the original sample charge. I ordered this stuff and went on vacation. When I came back there was a voicemail from my credit card company. When I called they notified me of the accumulating charges. They considered this a case of a stolen credit card. They issued me a new card, cancelled the old number. I called and cancelled both memberships and the CC company denied payment. I never saw anything online that I was agreeing to exorbitant charges every month. However now I see in new ads, a statement in the first paragraph that you are agreeing to monthly supplies unless you cancel in 14 days.

The bottom line is Dentech and Dazzlewhite came back with false information that I was aware of the agreement for monthly supplies which I was not. I wrote back to the CC company and advised them again this was a scam and the CC company knew it since they are the ones that advise me of the scam.  I do not intend to pay the fees even if my CC company demands it. They can put me on report to Experian and those guys, but I never intend to pay. The CC company has an obligation to protect the cusumer and not do business with the scammers no matter how much money they are making from these scammers
