Deer Creek Products stole my money! Shameless shop by mail ripoff Why have the gotten away with it? I want my money back! Pompano Beach Florida

I am disabled and have no access to stores. Most of the time I am at the hospital or in some sort of medical treatment.

I wanted to buy something nice for my father's birthday, so I decided to order merchandise from my Deer Creek Products catalogue.

I ordered a watch and other nicknacks months before my dad's birthday, just to make sure that it would be sent to me with plenty of time before that special date.

I paid with the Western Union Money Order # 06355476134.

When a whole month went by, I tried to contact them on the phone but nobody ever picked up. When more weeks went by, I wrote them several letters first requesting my items, and later on requesting a refund for the money I paid them. Nobody ever called me or wrote me back.

Because of my terrible health I live on an extremely tight budget, and I was very hurt and angry when they stole my money!!! Maybe to some people $30.80 is not much, but to me it means a big sacrifice out of my budget.

My Dad's birthday was this April 9th, 2003. I had nothing to give him.

Right now we are in the month of May (2003). This is the first chance I get to go online and research the company.

I was appalled by what I found. There are a lot of complaints about Deer Creek Products committing many frauds.

I do not understand how they can get away with it!!!??? People do not tend to research a company before ordering by mail. Usually, nobody thinks (or wants to believe) that thieves would be so shameless to send a catalogue to your home to trick you into ordering so they can keep your money. I worry about future innocent victims!
