Discover raising interest rates on you even if you are a good customer, hoping you will not notice Salt Lake utah

I have been a great customer of Discover for over 10 years. My interest rates have always been low, but I happened to notice on a statement that I did a balance transfer on, went up to over 28 percent! They advertise that they are this great company, will even wave late fees and interest rates twice if you mess up. Don't be fooled they are just waiting for an opportunity for you to mess up and then will really get you. This is how, you always pay in full each and every month, no interest great. Then they lure you in with a low balance transfer rate of 0% for 6 mo. beware this is the trap for only $75.00.

What they are waiting for you to charge something on it forgetting that if you do, it will now incur the new interest rate on that charge if you don't pay it off. I seems easy enough to not make that mistake, but is hard in this day and age when you have you cards "on file" with different places for your convenience. Even if you reverse the amount, it is most likely to late, and the reversed amount that is credited back will come off the 0% not the 28% for new purchases. Now you have pay off the entire amount or incur the rediculous interest rate. Lesson learned do not take advantage of balance tranfers they will take advantage if you mess up even a little bit and will have no tolerance for you, when in the past they did. The goal for them is to lure different types of customers and then take advantage of you. I just learned my lesson and paid off the balance and got rid of the card.
