Dynowatt's rates has just about doubled in one month?! In our June 2008 bill we paid $0.169 / kWh. July's bill is at $0.255 / kWh. We were unaware of any "fixed rate plans" or that we were under a "variable" plan. No notice was ever sent to us saying "hey we offer fixed rates" or "hey you are under a variable rate plan". Nothing is on our statements stating it. We've been with them for over two years and nothing. We signed up with them bc they said they could beat the leading electric companies rates and they did at the time. Today is another story. I called a few electric companies and their rates are not that high here in houston. Something doesn't seem right. I know another person who called them and they told her that they didn't know it was going to go this high other wise they would have sent notice. On their website they claim "they now offer fixed rate plans". After the fact.....
