IRS-SS4-form.com makes you think that you are on the IRS site to get an EIN number and then asks to put in a credit card for $147.00 fee. You are not on the IRS form for an SS4. IRS does NOT charge you anything. Make sure the site ends with .GOV NOT .COM.

https://irs-ss4-form.com is a rip off

For your company to charge $147.00 for a service that the consumer put in the same information as they put in your site as they would in the actual government site IRS.GOV is atrocious. It's interesting that your site is designed to have the consumer put all their information in and then at the very end asks for a credit card number is very misleading. Furthermore, consumers have reported that your employees do NOT answer the phone. YES, you are a rip-off site.

Definitely not a rip-off

It is not a rip-off for someone to charge for a service that is available for free elsewhere.

The paragraph at the top of the webpage (that you provided) clearly states, “EIN Filing Service ™ is a third party designee providing EIN filing and procurement services. We are not directly associated with or operated by the IRS.

The paragraph at the bottom of the webpage (that you provided) clearly states, “EIN Filing Service ™ acts as a Third Party Designee to help their clients obtain Federal Tax ID Numbers from the IRS in a timely manner. We only work on behalf of our clients and no government agency including the US Department of the Treasury, Social Security Administration, or the Internal Revenue Service… Alternatively, for no charge at all you can visit the official IRS.gov website and complete the EIN Application on your own without our assistance."

They clearly state they are not the IRS so there was no reason for you to assume they are. Always read before you leap.
