After being instructed by my banker that I would need and EIN number from the IRS I got online and googled. The first site that came up which looks very much like an official IRS site, instructed me to fill out form which I did and submitted.

Upon the submision it asked for a credit card. Not knowing these were free from the IRS I filled out the credit card info and submitted it.Later on my daughter informed me that these were free from the IRS. Approximately three hours after submitting the form I called EIN Filing Service.

After two calls I connected with an operator and told her that I was calling to rescind my order. She instructed me that they had already completed the service and that there is no recourse for recompensation. What a racket!
