Frontier Airlines Baggage Fee Extortion Nationwide

On June 11 I was flying Frontier Airlines from Houston to Phoenx.  When I got to the gate I was told by the Gate Agent that I had to check my bag and give them $40 or they would not let me on plane.  This was my only carryon and it was a small suticase.  

I have flown numerous times wiht this case and it always fit either underneath my seat or in the overhead compartment.

When I told this to the rude and arrogant gate agent she told me either pay up or I would not be allowed on plane.

Of course I paid (extortion is a wonderful thing if you are the extortionist).

When I complained to Frontier about this they informed me that consistency was more important than fairness.

I will never ever fly Frontier again and I recommend that anyone reading this also refuse to fly with them
