GameTap The company ripped me off, I cancelled my account and they refused to give me a refund. ripoff Internet

I subscribed to this game site gametap.com and when I first subscribed it was at the .99 cent price. It did state thereafter it would be $9.95 if not cancelled.
I tried to contact this company and cancel my subscription with them before they charged my credit card but to no avail I couldn't get a customer service rep on the phone just an automated system.

I tried for days to contact this company and when I finally found that I could talk to them via online status I did that and asked them to cancel my account and credit my credit card back the $9.95
My account was due on the 18th but starting from the 5th I couldn't get anyone on the phone so after my credit card was charged I kept trying and finally got someone via online live chat on March 24th.

I asked for my account to be cancelled and a refund sent back to my credit card they refused and just stated I had until April 18th to enjoy the site. I stated that I have been trying to contact them for weeks and they were to no avail.

I said that I haven't used the site at since the first week that had initiated the subscription.
Their downloads take to long and some of them don't even work.

They refused several times to give me a refund so I stated to them I was going to turn them over to the BBB (better Business bureau). They didn't seem to care. I don't know how many more people that they have done this too but its ridicilous!

I just wanted my refund back especially if I haven't even been on their site to enjoy anything but then there is nothing to enjoy because everything takes forever and most games don't even work.

They just kept stating to me that they don't have any way to see if I have signed in the account or not.
I just wouldn't advise anyone to go to this site you will get ripped off!
