In June of 2007 I purchased a box set of the Sanford & Son series from tvboxset.com for my husband's Father's day gift. He's loved this series since he was a child and I was so glad to find the entire collection and at a great price. Although the packaging seemed shady, I still accepted it and once we tried to play the disc, they were all ruined.

I emailed the company's support email address asking to have the set replaced but got no answer. When I went back on the site to contact them, the site was said to be under construction. Later on, it no longer existed.
I went online today and did a search to find a replacement for the box set. I saw a website dvdavenue.tv offering the entire collection for under $100 and was ready to jump on it.

It didn't take me more than 2 minutes on the site to realize that this was the same company that had scammed me. Their wording on both site are exactly the same, even the same shipping policy and coincidently are both in Canada.

This company is operating again under a new name so be aware.
