Geico Insurance Doubled my rate after not-at-fault accident bradenton Florida

I was hit by another driver in August in Florida where I live.   Geico was my insurance company.  They repaired my car somewhat.  Their body shop left paint on my leather seats and the dooors don't close right.  But they would not  do any more.  

I left the state for a few months for a job and when I returned to Florida and switched my insurance back to Florida (still with Geico), they more than doubled my rate.  They claim that the law in Florida allows them to do that with a not-at-fault accident.  (But does that mean they have to?)
