The total ripoff being perpetrated upon the consumer is a repair job costing $100.00+ as opposed to $10.00. After breaking the plastic squirrel cage exhaust fan blade on the left side of the exhaust fan motor I assumed the repair would be rather cheap. $10.00 at the most. I can't buy just the plastic fan blade, I was forced to buy an exhaust fan motor assembly which includes the right and left plastic fan blades, the housings that they sit in and an electric motor. This is akin to replacing your car because a fan belt is broken.
Besides being completely stupid, it's a waste because now I have a perfectly good motor that will be filling up what are already full landfills. Society loses, I lose all for General Electric can have a larger profit margin.

If the part isnt availiable what do you want them to do put one into production just for you? Obviously they cant do that.
