Greentree Servicing uncooperative, crooked, dishonest Tempe Arizona

I have a mortgage with Greentree Servicing, which is formerly Conseco Finance. I reside in Port Charlotte, Florida, and my home sustained damage from Hurricane Charley on August 13, 2004. I filed a claim with my insurance carrier, and they issued a check made out to me and Greentree. I have called Greentree several times to find out where exactly I need to send the check for endorsement, what I need to send with the check, and what their policy is on the disbursement of these funds. I made two phone calls today; the first "customer service" representative (and I use the term very loosely) hung up on me after I had given her my loan number, my social security number, and my name, because I wouldn't verify the list of facts that she had right in front of her. I figured since I had supplied my loan number, and my social security number, she would have figured out that I was who I said was. Not to mention the fact that anyone listening to me talk on the telephone now had this information, as well. The second "representative" would not give me any information until I gave him the amount of the check, which I would not do. Evidently, Greentree has more than one policy in place, depending on the dollar amount of the check, which doesn't make any sense at all....So, 'Ernie', who's extension is 50522, asked me if I would like to leave my number and have a supervisor call me back within 24-48 hours. I'm waiting to see if I get a call; the first time I requested a supervisor contact me, which was within the last couple of weeks, I never heard from anyone, so we'll see......Anyway, I have gotten estimates from several companies for the repairs I am in need of, and I am afraid to send my check to Greentree for fear that I won't get all the money back. Since no one there will give me any information regarding this matter, I am going to hold onto the check. In the meantime, my damaged roof gets worse, the wet drywall gets wetter, and so on and so forth. It does not appear as though Greentree Servicing Corporation knows the meaning of "customer service".
