This is not a rebuttal, actually an inquiry about Greetree. I was wondering is this the same Green Tree that bought out LTS homes? I'm from Upstate New York and recently been informed my mother who purchased a home from LTS under a rent to own contract is being harrassed by green tree. She was informed she had only two years left of paying on her mobile home a few months. But recently one of the reps called her and told her in a very unprofessional manner she is just "renting". I understand that when companies merge or are even bought out policies change. But from what I legally understand about contracts and ammendments that the leasee needs to informed about any changes. Can a company just change your lease without any notification and change your contract for a home you been paying off on a whim like that? Or is this some type of scam where they undermine the efforts of hard working people? I am not looking to bash a company without knowing the full story. but her bank statements used to show much still owed, and now they don't. This seems like dirty pool in my opinion but I need my conclusive evidence. So please anyone with information on this subject please respond.
