Green Tree servicing is harrassing me, calling me names and wont work with me. My husbands ex boss co signed the loan for us in 2001. He has never lived in the house, He filed Bankrupcy in 2005 and surrendred the house in 2006, they knew this and noone told me and they still excepted my payments, and then one day they called me a squatter and a homeless person and told me to move out, and they were coming to chance the locks on the house. I have this house on my land and its fenced in and they keep calling for the ex boss and sending the information in the mail with his name on it I pay for insurance and we cant use the check they sent it in his name. and they know he is not here and he surrendered the house and we are the ones making the payments. Please tell me what to do I stopped paying in Nov. 2011, this is not the house I ordered and this is not a land and home package. They say I still owe $22,000 more on the house. Its falling apart and I cant fix it if they wont let me use the insurance money.

Yes I have called a Lawyer, it's not their house, yes it's a mobile home, and the only thing that really fell apart was the hot water heater but we replaced that, I am not giving up this house without a fight I know I can't fix this, I never even seen a deed or contract. They know there is no contract too. Why would they continue to send the paper work in my name, I make the payments, I will not let them get away with calling me names either. I just want this place in my name before I continue to make payments. Thanks for your advice. I am sorry I was a little rude, but this house is mine not theirs.

Have you hired a lawyer? You can't fix this by yourself.
I'm assuming this is a mobile home. If it's falling apart, maybe you should let them tow it away and be done with them, and bring in a temporary old trailer to stay in until such a time as you can get something better.

As for the payments you were making, how is it they could accept payments without crediting them towards the loan, regardless of what your ex or yhis ex boss did or didn't do? Is your name on the loan and/or deed? Whatever the case is you need a lawyer to straighten out any mistakes by Green Tree, or to advise what your rights are.
