Harris Ford Harris Ford-Pierre Auto Group DEALERSHIP PRACTICES BOTH THE "BACKDATING CONTRACTS" AND "YO-YO" SCAMS Lynnwood, Washington

This dealership practices both the backdated contract and yo-yo scams.  They will call you back a couple of days after you sign contracts and take delivery of a vehicle to say that you need to come back in to resign the contracts because they made a mistake on the original one.  The new contract is then backdated to the date of the original contract, which is illegal in the state of Washington. 

RCW 46.70.180(4) states that a dealership is required to contact a customer within four days of the contravt date as to whether financing had been approved or rejected.   I was not contacted until approximately nine days after the contract date.

I have filed a formal complaint with the Washington State Dealer Licensing Board, as well as contacted the State Attorney Generals Office and the Better Business Bureau.  BUYER BEWARE!!!!!
