We were looking to buy 2 Ford Focus and unfortunately happened upon Harris Ford in Lynnwood WA. A Sales Manager named Ryan was the one who assisted us. We had asked if they used Kelly Blue Book values, or NADA values, and he said a mix of both. We explained all of our situation, we wanted to trade in a Nissan Sentra 2005 and a Mercedes Benz, and they would total at least $ 10,000 trade in value at worst.

We were looking to buy the 2 new Ford Focus, financed of course, we were assured by the sales manager that this could be done rather easily, and only the specific numbers could be worked out for the bank. Since it was evening, the banks weren't open, so he recommended that we go back the next day.

The next day because of our busy schedule (we were in the middle of moving to a new place), we called them first and were reassured again by Ryan that everything would work out very well. When we got there later, a 20 mile drive from our home, Ryan was not there as he had to go and attend to a personal matter, and somehow nobody knew anything about our situation, they did not know what we were trading in or what we were trying to buy. All of the trade in information, rebates and so on were suddenly forgotten.

After waiting forty five minutes for them to figure anything out, we were sent over to the money mart across the street where once again they managed to forget everything about us, except that we were there. They even had our folder with all our information, which they neglected to read.

After another forty five minutes, they had still not gotten anywhere, and said that what we wanted wasn't possible, even though they didn't know what we wanted. They didn't even know what our trade ins were, and hadn't the first clue about any rebates or discounts. Ford gives a $ 2500 rebate on new Ford Focus cars, and we were looking to buy 2 of them, so that makes it $ 5000. They did not even ask us what we wanted. The guy who was talking to us did not have a clue. We just had enough of it and stormed out of the place. What a waste of time, apparently they don't care about your time, and only their time is important. So much for customer service. We spent 2 days dealing with them and still nothing happened.

Do not deal with them, or any Bill Pierre affiliated car dealerships. We did not know they were Bill Pierre/Money Mart affiliated till it was too late. And we went over there because we thought they had nothing to do with each other! And we drove 20 miles! If we wanted to deal with Bill pierre, we could have just drove half a mile, there is a Bill Pierre Ford down the street from where we live.

Do not deal with them! RED FLAGS!!!

I agree with your Report of HARRIS FORD!!!  I worked for the Pierres back in the early 2000's and it was great.  Jaime Pierre and Shane Pierre and the whole family is great.  They are not the problem.  The problem you have is with the Managers involved now like Scott Guthrie, the GM at Harris Ford and the other stores.  Its quite a shame actually because all the people he hires quit on him.  He is Mean and a Bully and this is the word out on the street with most Salesman about SCOTT GUTHRIE.  He pretends to be this great family man but he hides behind closed doors and this makes him a FAKE!!!! He will hire anybody; criminals, felons etc.  You don't need to pass a drug test at any of the Pierre Stores.  If your looking for a good deal DO NOT GO TO HARRIS FORD.  They will cheat, lie, steal and do anything they can to sell a car to you.  If they do cheap sell a car to you its because they are hoping that you will come to the service department and get POUNDED with a nice hefty service bill.  If you can't pay that will say something to the effect well lets just trade it in and roll in the negative equity.  AGAIN: WARNING!!!!!   STay away from SCOTT GUTHRIE and HARRIS FORD!!!!!!!

The dealership did not seemed concerned with what you were trying to do or what you wanted for a reason.

The "Money Mart" is where potential Harris Ford customers are sent for "special financing". Meaning your credit information did not meet criteria for standard financing.

Once they saw your credit and decided they wouldnt be able to find financing.
What you were looking for, or trying to do ....etc. wouldnt matter if you were unfinanceable.

I would also assume 1 of the vehicles you were attempting to trade was being financed, Im guessing you were "buried" in it. Meaning you owe alot more than the vehicle is worth to a dealership.

I dont think the dealership was at any sort of fault. I think your situation was unmanageable.
