Hobbytron.com Thieves! Took my money did not send product! Santa Clarita, California

During my very busy work schedule before Christmas I thought I could save some time from shopping in local stores and maybe save some money too. I thought I could do this by shopping online.

I was looking to purchase some mini remote control helicopters and found what seemed to be an established company called Hobbytron. Well they are established all right. Established at horrible customer service, and actually ripping consumers off.

Maybe thats what I get for researching them After they burned me. I odered around $115 worth of merchandise on Dec 6 2012. The order was supposed to ship in 2-3 days. They debited my account immediately for full payment.

It has been a week and I was getting a funny feeling because I did not receive an email stating they shipped my order. Well that is because they have NOT shipped my order. I have been trying to reach them by phone and email all week and the only response I have received is a battered receptionist that states she has no answers and does not really work for Hobbytron and is not even in the building with them. She also states that she is getting a LOT of complaints from customers.  The email response is a generic email telling me to check my order....which continues to state it is in processing and will ship in 2 days.

I am currently working with my bank to DISPUTE the charges. This is the worst experience I have ever had online. I will certainly do my research ahead of time in the future.

Hobbytron seems to have been in business a while because some of the complaints go years back. If they were closer I would go there in person. That would be a FUN visit. (For me not for them).

DO NOT do business with this company. They do not know the meaning of customer service! They are thieves and will steal your money. I can not imagine how they have remained in business for even a few years with the horrible service they offer.
