Integretel - The Billing Resource fraudulent bIlling of phantom 3rd party services CRAMMING ripoff San Jose California

On reviewing accounts for payment, I noticed an mystery charge hiding in the "Other Company" section of my phone bill. Integretel Inc.(AKA The Billing Resource) had started billing $7.25 (+ taxes) each month to my BellSouth telephone account, purportedly for voicemail services being provided by a company called MyTeleBill LLC.

Since voicemail services had never been requested, nor received, I called MyTelebill LLC at 888-839-5999 to investigate, and was referred to call 800-736-7500, The Billing Resource (AKA Integretel Inc.)

Reached a pleasant CSR (Delia) who was unable to provide any date as to when this service was supposedly requested, nor any explanation as to what service was actually being provided for the monthly cost of $7.25 (+ taxes).

When pressed for substantive proof, the CSR folded and offered to cancel the service. With more pressure, the CSR agreed to credit back prior amounts billed for this phantom service.

In summary, blatant cramming by multiple players.

Billing Aggregator (Integretel) turns a blind eye to fraudulent Third Party Service provider (MyTeleBill LLC), with the "We're only providing a billing service" excuse, while raking in commissions on the questionable revenue stream.

At the top of the pyramid, the LEC (in my case BellSouth) charges a healthy fee per "Other Company" statement page from the Billing Aggregators (Integretel) and Third Part Service Providers (MyTeleBill LLC)

I guess that credit refunds to the few customers who sweat the details and persevere are profitably outweighed by the vast majority who don't.
