I came across the website Ivorywhite while taking a survey. Ivorywhite advertises a product that supposed to whiten your teeth. They offered a free sample of their product, complete with instructions, mouth pieces and syringe full of gel stuff, if potential customers agree to pay shipping costs of $4.87. I entered my debit card number (mistake), and ordered their free trial.

I received the Ivorywhite sample, 1 syringe/mouth piece and instructions quickly and as their ad stated. I also received a package containing two syringes and mouth pieces that I was not expecting. I was going over my bank account and came across three different charges from Ivorywhite. The first charge was $1.43, the second was $3.44, both done on the 5th of Nov., ok so this is the $4.87 shipping charge, I was ok with these transactions, everything on the up and up, (wrong). The next charge, done on the 19th of Nov. from Ivorywhite was for $78.41. Where did this come from? I asked myself. So I went back to Ivorywhite's website and found that I was somehow put on their monthly re-order program. I quickly canceled my unwanted subscription via their email customer service. Have not been able to contact anyone using their 800 number.

I don't know how many of these type of websites there are. You know the type that states somewhere deeply hidden, that your credit card will automatically be billed unless you cancel your membership within a certain amount of days. So the game is put this little disclaimer somewhere where it is almost impossible to find and then say you must cancel within 3 or 7 days or whatever the case may be and then say that it will take 3 or 7 days to process your cancellation so your f*&&$ either way for at least one months subscription.

There is a difference between a sample and a trial. Trials have trial periods and ours is 10 days. The terms of the offer are not deeply hidden, they are right below "Name on Card" when you enter your credit card information. They do state that you will be getting a 30 day supply with your trial and that after 10 days you would be billed for that 30 day supply. Also where does it say it takes 3-7 days to process a cancelation? That is not on our site or in any of our email confirmations, not sure where you got that from. Email cancelations are processed within 1 business day and phone cancelations are immediate.
