Laptop Rescue Beware, Avoid, Sleezeballs California

Despite looking at negative reports before ordering from Laptop Rescue, I took a chance on purchasing a battery. 

I attempted several contacts with them, especially when they took my money and I didn't see a tracking number. A day later  I received a short reply stating that it would be shipped in the next day or two. When the battery did arrive, it was packaged well for shipping. My hopes raised, I opened it to the appearance of a new looking battery. 

It installed without much issue aside from the tab being upside down. This was worrysome, but it could only install one way. I charged it fully before using it without a power supply. The battery was also much lighter than my old one. Another worry. My suspicions grew. 

When the battery drained to 40%, it failed and shut down. It did this twice. Two times too many. My old battery that needed replaced in a big way held a better charge. Where was quality control? 

I contacted them, with the threat of a lawyer, I had no intention to play games. I just wanted my money back. The reply was promt. In a day, I received a tracking number, and dropped it off at a UPS store. 

 It has been a week now. I checked to see if it was returned. UPS has tried to deliver it twice now, both times, the company has moved. It has since been reallocated to another destination. Not sure what will transpire in the next couple of days concerning if I run into any more problems. I sincerely hope not. I hope to see my money returned without penalty for shipping a defective product. 

 I never write a bad review, knowing it could be just one of those things...but, I do so because I think there was intentional misrepresentation with the product.
